My name is Mereida and I am a comics maker and illustrator based in Bristol. I'm interested in exploring the possibilities of the comics form and visual storytelling.

I enjoy working in different mediums, but always with a focus on narrative and sequential design. I love experimenting with the language of comics, paper folding and making zines, and finding interesting ways to tell stories. I find inspiration in landscapes and memory, and the intersection of science and technology with humanity.

I am also co-founder and organiser of ZINEZILLA, an illustration + zine fair in Bristol.
